DLA sent off wrong form
I wonder if anyone can help? I received a form for my son's DLA, I had not paid much attention to it as I had left it for a few weeks, in my rush when I had time of work, I printed of my old form and added new information where relevant. I sent this off, but only just noticed I sent a new claim form instead of the shorter renewal form that was sent to me.
Will this affect the claim? As now worried they will say that the renewal from was not received or make a total new decision based on a totally new claim? I sent off lots of evidence with this, some which are originals.

You will need to ring DLA and explain what’s happened.

I did try call but having trouble getting through, I will keep trying as I am not stressed about it :(
My own fault I know, I should have paid more attention, but I was already finding it stressful doing it again and trying to get new evidence, that I completely forgot to check the form sent to me originally.

Hi @Tayanahouseb, it's understandable. There are so many different forms, but you will need to contact them to let them know what has happened so they can disregard the incorrect form. I hope you have better luck tomorrow with getting through to them.
Let us know how you get on!
