PIP review

Have just had text to say my review is complete but 2 weeks until I get letter. Does anyone know if this is usual or what the outcome is usually. 2 week seems a long time to wait for a letter when they can just tell you if they have made a decision !

Hi, I wouldn't worry too much as this is a standard text. I had exact same text on Monday this week. I hadn't had any requests for assessment or telephone assessment (this was a review). I rang them Tues morning and have been awarded indefinite pip with a soft touch review in 10 years time. Good luck and hope you hear soon.

Hi Stratos. I requested the review due to my condition worsening. been waiting since march. it says do not call until I get the letter, is it worth calling them?

Hi @siany1, this is a pretty standard text. And yes, it can take several business days just for the letter to get to you. No, I don't understand why it takes that long either!

Best of like with the result, let us know how it goes. Remember, reviews follow the same appeals process as applications. So you still get the chance of overturning a bad result at an MR and tribunal!

Although the text advises you not to ring, you can ring them anytime to ask what the decision is and they will tell you.
