Pip assessors report
hi all I’ve just joined this community and was looking for a bit of support really and maybe reassurance
I was already in standard daily living and standard mobility from 2020 I was a nurse and when covid hit my mental health went really bad
However in December 2023 I was diagnosed with copd
So in February I phoned pip and requested a review
I got the form filled it in sent it back they recieved it in the 7th March
May the 29th had a telephone assessment lasted 1hour 40 mins she was lovely and very understanding
Got a text 2 hours later they had recieved my report from assessor orange and requested it it came the next day
I got 18 points for daily living 18 points mobility
I recieved a letter on Saturday saying they have all the information they need
My anxiety is absolutely through the roof
All I keep thinking is are they gonna go with assessors report or leave it as it is
I’ve heard nothing back I know it takes up to 6 weeks that’s what it says on a text I recieved
I just worring I hope they go with the assessors report
I just wanna hear back then I’m thinking I’ve not heard cause it’s staying the same I don’t know
Sorry for long post
And Thankyou in advance for reply’s

Timescales for decisions is actually up to 12 weeks after the report was returned, rather than the 6 weeks you were advised.

just a update I phoned pip on Friday as I was on phone he said they just made a desision he could tell me much but told me my next payment is both daily living and mobility at enhanced rate
Will this be on my next payment as my next payment day is this upcoming Wednesday
Thanks all

It depends on when the decision was made and whether that was before payment for next week was sent. You'll need to wait for your payment to see.
