Pip journey
long story short my pip was up for review I had a telephone assessment. Pip award stopped as usual the accessor blatantly twisted what i said, I have exactly the same conditions that I had previously. I did a mandatory a man grow pip phoned me on 20 th regarding my mandatory he asked about my bank is it still the same he said you will have an answer by the end of the day and a letter in 7-10 days but we think you will be pleased with the outcome. So next day I phoned pip because I hadn’t heard anything they told me the decision is still the same ! I’m furious that he built my hopes up like this the pip journey is stressful as it is I’m now taking it to tribunal it’s took 16 months up to now . Sorry for the long winded tale but has anyone any advice or experienced this
Thanks in advance

I'm sorry you were given false hope. It's not unusual for the MR decision not to change because the majority of them don't. More chance of success at Tribunal stage providing you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing.

Sorry you didn't get the result you were hoping for @francisgee. Unfortunately as Poppy said, it's not uncommon for them to keep the same decision at Mandatory Reconsideration stage. Many people do have more positive results at tribunal so we'll keep everything crossed that you get what you're hoping for at the next stage. It's a frustrating journey sometimes, but I hope it all works out for you eventually.
Welcome to the community, by the way 😊
