LCW now moved to LCWRA

Hey everyone,
I was on LCW until now when they accepted me for LCWRA. Let me explain this from day 1 to make it easier.
From the last 18 months I have been on LCW and my condition worsened, then in December 2023 they sent me a form to fill in again for Limited Capablity same as last time when I first applied for it 18 months before. But I heard nothing at the time until I got a Journal Message begining of June 2024 that I had assessment on Friday 14th June 2024. Then woke up today to some good news they accepted me finally for LCWRA. But this is the main point I am asking, since with all the hassle would I get any backdated pay? Would be nice if they did, but if I am not entitled to back pay its ok, if you don't ask you don't get.
Cheers Peeps, just confused with all this you see isn't straight forward as it seems unless its just me lol. How long am I on this as well for before my next assessment in the future?

If you reported changes to your health condition which prompted them to refer you for another WCA then it’s paid from the assessment period in which you reported the changes.
If they referred you as part of a normal review then it’s paid from the assessment period in which the decision was made. Therefore no money would be owed.

Okey dokey thank you, will I get the LWRCA payment on the 13th next month? I get paid on the 13th of every month.

You’re welcome. Yes, next month. Please make sure you check your next statement because they don’t always get this right. Sometimes they tell you that there’s a waiting period before the extra money is paid. As you already had LCW then the waiting period doesn’t apply.
