Pip back pay

So I’ve been reading threads and I’ve just been awarded pip as of yesterday still waiting on the letter ect I’m just wondering what everyone means by when the payments sent? Would it not of been sent when the message was said I’m abit confused

Sometimes there maybe a delay in sending any money that's owed. You can ring PIP and ask what you've been awarded and also when to expect any money owed into your bank and they will tell you.
