Hi @Ikonik,
A warm welcome to the Scope online community, my name is Jodie and I am a Family Services Advisor.
As your son turns 18, your role as his Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) appointee will continue. There is no automatic end on his 18th birthday.
If you would like further information you can visit: Personal Independence Payment (PIP): What PIP is for - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
I hope that helps
Jodie
