WCA

Good evening, I'm asking for your help again. UC50 was sent on May 10, I called CHDA and they said they didn't receive anything. When I filled out the uc50 I didn't have a lot of evidence but I sent the appointments for the scan and orthopedist. Today he received all the results and unfortunately the problems are serious. Can I send more evidence? Where?

I would have expected them to have received it by now, usually they receive it very quickly because it's sent straight to them and not through DWP. Not only that you can be found fit for work for failing to return the form but UC would contact you first to ask why you didn't return it. Did you keep a copy of the form you returned?
You can send extra evidence anytime but you'll need to ring the assessment providers to ask for the address, if you didn't keep a record of the address when you returned the form.

I have a copy and I also have the receipt from the post office. I will call again. Thank you

Hello, I called CHDA again today to tell them that I want to send additional evidence and I received the same answer that they do not have the uc50 questionnaire. Last week I asked in the journal where this questionnaire is and they answered me as a factor of I don't have a work coach and I don't know who I can talk to. Who can I call to clarify where this uc50 is?

Please, if you can, I still need some advice. If the husband received PIP but the WCA has not been completed, can I apply for the carer's allowance at UC? I work 45 hours a week but I am the only pet woman who takes care of my husband. The market, food, washed, his hygiene, when I applied for UC I declared that I care about him. Soon I had to leave work following the results of the MRI, it was found that he needs urgent surgery on his left knee, he has severe osteoarthritis on the right and moderate on the left. Orthopedist he wanted to operate on him the next day, but I refused because he needs permanent care until he recovers, after which he will have an operation on the second knee. Because of my salary from UC, I did not receive much money, approximately 300 per month, even if I also receive the cost of housing and cannot financially afford to leave my job.

It's pointless putting messages onto your journal regarding the UC50 form because it's nothing to do with UC. It's sent straight to the health assessment providers so you need to ring them. You said you have a copy of the form you sent so send them another copy but make sure you know what the address is before you send it. You can also send any additional evidence you have with the form.
If his PIP includes the daily living part you can claim carers element of UC for looking after him. Log into your journal and "report a change of circumstances" then click caring for someone and report it this way. Your UC will then include carers element. There's no maximum earnings limited for carers element.

Hello, after 3 phone calls to CHDA where I was told that they did not receive UC50, I called again to tell them that I want to send a copy to UC50 again together with the medical evidence and to confirm if the address I have is correct They told me not to send anything because the first questionnaire was with them but it arrived late and they sent it to the DWP. They gave me a phone number from the UC where I called and they didn't know where it was questionnaire. They told me that a case manager would answer me by August 5. Do you think that if I go to the job center to take all the documents, will someone help me? No one is dealing with our case and I don't know if anyone will talk to you with me. I also took into account the request for a caregiver but no one answered me. If I wait until August 5th, they will surely give the decision that he is fit for work. Can I then make a mandatory reconsideration if I do not have an evaluation report? Can I send all the evidence then?

Sounds like they’ve done this due to the form being received later than the date in the letter. Did you post it before that date? If you did and you have proof that you did this then I’d advise you to give them a copy of that. You can take it to your local Job centre to hopefully speed up the process.
Sorry but what do you mean by request for caregiver?

Yes, I sent 7 days before the deadline and I have the receipt. Thank you for your answer.

Hello, I want to start by thanking you for your help. I applied for the carer element as you taught me and today I saw that it is included in the following payment. Now if it was approved can I ask them to calculate my outstanding payments? I applied for UC on January 29 and declared that I care by someone from November 29. Then the husband did not receive PIP. The PIP decision was made on July 13. The award starts on March 7. Can I receive payments from this date? How can I claim them?

You're welcome. It should be paid from the assessment period in which the PIP award started from. For you that will be 29th Feb to 28th March and first payment would be 4th April.
If you told them what date the PIP award was from then they should just recalculate your past statements but this often takes quite a few weeks. Once it's done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will be paid into your bank. It will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.
You can put a message on your journal under the payment section just to ask about the money they owe you for the carers element, just to make sure they are aware that you're owed some money.

Thank you for your help, I left a message and I hope it will be resolved. Regarding the uc50, which I claim arrived late, I have not resolved anything. At the job center they told me that I have to wait for the decision. If I sent on the 10th, how long it can last?

Up to 12 weeks but could be sooner.

12 weeks is Friday, maybe the decision maker will give you an answer. Thank you
