Hello

Hello, I don't understand how they calculate lcwra payment.
help me figure it out. I received a certificate of incapacity for work on February 10, and on April 12, they confirmed that I am incapacitated, when will the first payment be due??
and will I receive money for the past months, this is what I expected (March, April, May, June) thank you

Hey there @ulia1996 and welcome to the community.
Congratulations on the LCWRA award, that must be a big relief? As for payments, can I just ask, did you hand in fit notes with no gaps?0 -
What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Without knowing that your first payment will be either June or July. This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes until a decision was made and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.

Was the 10th February the date you provided your first fit note? Did you provide fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made?
If it was then your waiting period will be Feb/March, March/April, April/May.. LCWRA starts from 20h May to 29th June and first payment will be 5th July. You are not owed any LCWRA element.
Did you receive the extra money in your payment this month? If you didn't please check what date exactly you provided your first payment. You can check on your journal, if you have access to one.
