Received a letter Re: PIP claim
So I had a letter Saturday saying they had tried to contact me about my pip payments and I should call to give my bank details. I thought it was odd as I haven't received any award notification yet. So I called and gave my details, he said no decision has been made yet.
Is this a sign that they are close to making the decision? The report i requested pretty much gave me max points for both daily living and mobility.

They do sometimes ring to check back details. It doesn’t mean anything other than this. Hopefully not too much longer for a decision.

It does hopefully mean they're nearing a decision being made @LeeCVT. But yes, they're just double checking all information before the decision maker makes their decision!
Let us know the outcome!

Called yesterday and they had made a decision an hour before my call and I'd been awarded pip. So a good outcome. As it was my first application for benefits ever I was surprised as many of you had issues claiming. Pretty happy with the overall process in my experience even though many are not. Hopefully with labour in power things might in improve for those struggling with pip

That's great news @LeeCVT! What a relief for you.

Most definitely. Since the stroke outgoings have definitely increased and we can't keep on top of things without me working. I was awarded higher for both awards so it will cover the most important things. I can actually goto sleep and not worry tonight :)
