Pip review

Hi All, just wondered if anyone could help pls. My son was awarded pip in 2022 it said on his award letter this will be reviewed again in 2025, but today he as received the pip review letter/form is this normal to receive it this early. Thanks

When is his award due to end? Reviews usually start about 8 months before that. Although they can review you at anytime.

Thank You Poppy, his reward letter said up until March 2025, then he would be reviewed again. I didnt know they review so many months before. Thanks again

Totally normal, I always receive mine about a year before. It's one of things that so exhausting and damaging about the whole thing because it takes months or sometimes years to go through the process of claiming and then if they give you a short award you have to soon start all over again. Hopefully this will be one of the things that gets changed if anything does. Don't forget, even if there have been no changes you must fill in the review as if the assessor knows absolutely nothing, so you can write "no change since last assessment" but make sure you follow that with as much information as you did the first time.
