Random PIP call

I had the most bizarre call a few days ago regarding my change of circumstances. I was asked if I “were to be given a lump sum payment can I handle it?” She then said I can’t confirm that your assessment has been completed yet?? What is that all about she just said she couldn’t say anymore!!
