Tribunal alone
Hi I have my pip tribunal soon, and I don't have anybody to take me there,or support me during the process. Will this go against me at all?
My pip is about my struggle with mental health, and I am currently under a MH nurse.I will have to get a taxi there,as buses I cannot mentally cope with.
Has anybody faced a tribunal alone dealing with mental health.I have asked for help from various local organisations but it's not something they can help me with.
Hoping someone can offer some advice.Thankyou

Hi @Charlie5, I haven't faced a tribunal yet so I don't have any experience to share with you. What I can share though is that I have spoken with a tribunal judge in the past. They want you to have a fair hearing and for you to have your say.
When you turn up, let the tribunal panel know you're anxious. Inform them that you may need time to answer questions they put to you. They want to hear what you have to say. So just be truthful with them, not just when they ask you questions about PIP, but also about how you are feeling in the tribunal and if you are having any struggles with the process.

Thankyou for taking the time and trouble to get back to me.Thankyou for your advice I feel very anxious yes infact not eating much or sleeping but I know everyone struggles when it comes to a tribunal.
I will make the tribunal know of my difficulties on the day,and hope they will bear this in mind,as well as the evidence I have submitted to them.
Thankyou
Kind Regards
