What to Expect After Sending a Mandatory Reconsideration
Will I get a text to say they are reconsidering it?
Do I get a call from the next decision maker?
Anyone know what the average waiting time for mandatory reconsideration is?

They sometimes send a text once it's been received.
No, they don't always ring, they will only do this if they have questions to ask. Up to 15 weeks for the decision due to the recent increase in backlogs.
Most MR decisions remain the same because the success rate is rather low at this stage. You can proceed to Tribunal if you're not happy once the decision is made. Much higher chance of success at this stage.

Thank you.
I can see from the Royal Mail special delivery it has been received, but I have not received a text to confirm they have received and are looking at it.

With special delivery, that just means the letter has arrived at the DWP sorting room, so it will take another day or two to filter to the right department. So please try not to worry. :)

Good point. If only all this was not so anxiety provoking.
