Universal Credit Jobcentre Phone Appointment
Hi all, I had my first phone appointment with the jobcentre today after putting my second fit note into my journal. I expected them to call me, but no one did. Are we expected to call them these days?

Hi @Ziadawn sorry to hear they didn't call. That can sometimes happen if the coach is ill, but they should've left a note on your journal at the very least. Just to double check, had they definitely said it was a phone appointment?

I'll 2nd what Albus has said here. Please check it was a telephone appointment and not face to face at your local job centre. If it was telephone then it would say that on your journal. If it was then yes they would ring you.

Yes it was a phone call, and they put a did not attend in my journal. And asked why did I not attend, to which I said I waited for a call which I never got. I tried ringing the jobcentre after getting that reply, and it gave another number for uc and said the jobcentre was closed.

Hi guys, I rang the jobcentre and after listening to the 4 options, it put me through to their new ai virtual assistant. Which then told me to ring another number, and another 4 options then a advisor answered. I think they had my old mobile number so I told him my home and mobile numbers. I had to update my journal and its sorted now.
