Uc child disabled element
hi just wondering if anyone can advise please?
My sons been awarded HRC LRM on 12/07 backdated to 13/03 (new claim) I’ve added change of circumstance but no reply from uc yet
I understand I will get the higher disabled child element.
I gets uc on the 7th of every month, will I get the element added on my statement due 1/08? And when will it get backdated from? I’m assuming because it was awarded during my AP that it should be from April instead of 13/03
Any advice greatly appreciated because uc is a minefield to understand and it confuses me 😂

Yes, it should be included in your next statement for this months assessment period. Money owed will be paid as a separate payment and first payment would be 7th April. It often takes quite a few weeks to pay what is owed.
