Snapshot - A Short Film About Autism

Hi everyone,

Having been a long supporter of Scope, and did have a previous username which I can't seem to access!

Anyway, I am the Writer and Director of a BFI-Funded short film called Snapshot, that greatly draws on my personal lived experiences as an Autistic Adult negotiating unemployment, and the job interview process.

After success at film festivals, and support from The National Autistic Society, I am hoping to get this short film seen by as many Autistic people, and family, loved ones, supporters and carers of Autistic people as possible, given the amount of praise having been received so far.

It's recently been selected to stream on Omeleto, and I'd be curious to know what you thought, and would be happy to answer any film related questions regarding the production process.

As someone who does not have autism, I found this short film to provide invaluable insight into the experiences of autistic individuals. The excellent production quality and thoughtful content will undoubtedly aid in fostering a better understanding of autism among the general public. It certainly opened my eyes to this condition and what those on the autism spectrum experience.
