Finding information about disabled toilets with a hoist
Can anyone advise as to how I find out if an area such as New Brighton. Wirral has a disabled toilet with a hoist to lift an adult from wheelchair to toilet.
I have tried Googling to no avail.
It would be so helpful if there was an online list of areas with such information
Thanks in advance for any advice
Pam

I am so sorry I haven’t been back to reply before now. I’m trying to find out if there is accessible toilets with a hoist at two places l would like to visit for a day. New Brighton on the Wirral and Barkby Beach in North Wales.
Both are places I used to visit when I could transfer from my wheelchair but now I need a hoist I’m finding it so difficult to find out this informationI have tried emailing New Brighton Council..no reply and today I have messaged the tourist information centre about Barkby Beach.

Have you considered a female urinal? You could retreat into any disabled toilet, do the necessary, flush it away. Pop this extremely nifty device back in your rucksack, though my use is limited to the early hours of the morning.
