Pip decision maker

so I was told a few times I didn’t need an assessment for a change of circumstances with pip and today called as it has gone over the 5 weeks they said it would take! They put me in to the decision maker and she said I shouldn’t have been told no assessment and she would look at it all today. Iv now had a missed call from her and worried I was told the wrong information and now will have to wait for assent and it’s not good news. I already get standard for both but have since had a Lobectomy. Has anyone had this happen where apparently they shouldn’t of told me I didn’t need an assessment?

It does happen where people have been advised incorrectly. Who told you that an assessment wouldn’t be needed?

When they call does it show up as a mobile number or some generic landline?
I only ask as I’ve had missed calls the last few days, but I think it’s probably just scammers as it’s always mobile numbers, and they’re never the same.

The people that answer the phone said I wouldn’t need assessment , 2 or 3 different people, iv called a good few times! They told me I had sent in enough evidence.
it was an O800 number that showed and she left a voicemail1 -
she has since called back today and after about a 40 min call has awarded me the mobility enhanced now but if I’m wanting the Dailing Living enhanced I’d have to have full assessment which would take weeks.
It was very stressful0 -
Hi @Dibby1971.
That's great news about being awarded the enhanced mobility component 😊 Are you going to have a full assessment to try and get enhanced living as well? I totally understand that it's all very stressful.
