Wheelchair accessories?
Hi everybody!
I tried to see if this could be posted under “Wheelchair” but I think that might be just a tag rather than a category.
Anyhow, I purchased the KWK D09 and electric wheelchair and was wondering if anyone has purchased accessories for it.
If so, what was your experience?
I’m a tall person and feel like the footplate is a bit small and/or doesn’t extend out enough. I also feel as if the armrests are a little low down.
There was no store near me and so had to buy online. Although it’s not a terrible fit in the grand scheme of things, there are elements that could be tweaked to make it near perfect.
I’m really just curious to hear opinions on this stuff.
Thanks :)

If the wheelchair does not suit your height, return it to the seller.

Hi @magentablossom, sorry it's taken some time to reply to your discussion! I'm afraid I am not a wheelchair user so I cannot give an informed opinion on this. I'd like to learn more about it though. You mention it's a terrible fit, but that it's near perfect.
What are the things, little or big, that make it near perfect for you?

@magentablossom I'm not familiar with the KWK powerchair but know of very similar models, which have accessories you can buy. For some wheelchairs, you can buy a clip-on larger footplate. I love the Freedom powerchair which has some great add ons - I'll find a link for you.
