Private pension draw down

Hi, my husband has a private pension and wants to start drawing down after he takes his 25% tax free allowance. Will taking lumpsums from his private pension affect the carers allowance he gets?

    It won't affect carers allowance. Do be aware though that carers allowance is taxable income, as well as any pension withdrawn after the 25% tax free.

    Are either of you claiming any other benefits? if so which ones?
