Awarded PIP, unsure how long for

Hello, im new here, sorry if ive posted in the wrong place.
My wife applied for PIP 8 Weeks ago, had a 10 minute phone assessment 3 weeks ago, and received a text yesterday to say shes be awarded PIP, We called up and was told the next payment amount which works out to be enhanced for both daily living and mobility.
We have never claimed for anything ever before so didn't know what to expect but from reading online in seemed a bit of a battle to get what your entitled to so we were surprised by how easy its been, im assuming as she has had the condition for 10+ years the medical history supported the application without really any input from ourselves?
We haven't received the letter yet, it takes a couple of weeks from what ive read? but were wondering how long she could we rewarded for? A few comments online state if your awarded the higher rate for both straight away they award you for 10 years?
Would be good to know if anyone else has experienced similar and how long there award was for, i know the letter will state how long but would just be nice to have an idea while we wait.
Thank you :)

That's great news. Not everyone with Enhanced for both will receive a 10 year award. My daughters been claiming PIP since 2017 with Enhanced for both and she's had 2 reviews since then.
When you receive the award letter it will tell you on their when her award is due to end. Or you can ring PIP to ask and they will tell you.
