Education and work.

Hello I'm 32 with Cerebral palsy, I'm afraid of being judged in a new job role. I'd love something that redeems me worthy. I have retail experience but feel it's not enough to get anything else. I'm obseessed with being safe and potentially holds me back. I live in the East Midlands area so i'm sure theres help locally.

Hi @putter218
Welcome to the community. Do you have a new job or are you considering a role? I understand the feelings of being judged in the workplace. I've experienced some challenges, but overall my disability hasn't been a factor in gaining employment.
What kind of job would you like to do? If you feel you might need more experience, how about attending further education? I went back to college in my 40's and did a counselling qualification. This gave me new opportunities.
I'm wondering if the Government's Looking for work information might help and offer some reassurance. Scope also have an Employment support service
Kind Regards
Sara
