ESA letter applied online. What does this letter mean?
hi I received this letter today , so confused as not had any assessments. What does this mean?.

Is this a new claim for ESA? if they sent a P45 then usually this means that there's no entitlement to ESA payments. You'll need to ring them to ask and they will tell you.
To be entitled to payments for New style ESA you will need the correct NI contributions in tax years 2021/22 and 2022/23. It would be class 1 if you were employed or class 2 if self employed.

thanks yes it was a new claim, I have been signed off on long term sick so just applied for PIP today as advised by my mental health nurse.

Did you ring ESA to ask them?

I tried but was on hold for 2 hours then it was causing me distress no answer
