Pip awarded
hi, first time posting, hope everyone is well ☺️ after face to face assessment, I asked for the report and the assessor has recommended standard on both and for the living side that is spot on as I have osteoarthritis in my left hip 🥲 however on the moving around part he wrote that 1-20 metres was considered but because I walked very slowly with my stick 26metres to the assessment room and that I am able to drive an automatic car that means I have power in my left leg and I’m able to walk 50 metres reliably 😳 I am going to ask for mandatory reconsideration for this as the walk was very flat not steps and on carpet, rather than managing uneven pavements and curbs and the automatic car I drive (it’s my sons as I stopped driving my manual) I don’t need to use my left leg at all ☺️ I’m hoping I stand a chance before I have to buy a car to get out.

You will need to wait for the decision to be made before requesting the MR. Once the decision is made if you're still not happy then you should put that request in writing. Please do not ring to request it.
