I have just been awarded LCWRA and I am wondering if I can get half price bus fares, I have applied for PIP and I am awaiting for the outcome

I'm unsure about cheap bus fares on UC, but I know you can get a disabled persons bus pass if you're on PIP and have the enhanced mobility component. Hopefully one of the community will be able to give you a firm answer soon.

I previously had a disabled bus pass but it expired in 2011 while I was in prison, just got released 5 months ago and I have been trying to renew it ever since.

LCWRA doesn't automatically entitle you to a disabled persons bus pass. There are other ways to qualify but you'll need to look at your local Authorities criteria. See link.
