Will my 17yr old working and still at college affect UC

My 17yr old son works and is still at college.

Will the child tax and child benefit be affected by his work?

I'm confused and frustrated as so many sites say different things

Just to confirm , I will still receive the child element for him on universal credit? Also are there certain hours he can work ect?

You said in your previous comment that you're still claiming Tax credits? If he remains in full time non advanced education when you claim UC then yes you will receive the child element for him up until 1st Sept following his 19th birthday.

There's no maximum amount of hours he can work.

Is this the same in regard to Child Benefit too please? I remember reading about children being allowed to work 24 hours per week or was that for under 16?

Yes the same applies. The 24 hour rules doesn't apply when they are in full time non advanced education. See link.
