Appeal response

Hi all,
I’m waiting on my appeal hearing. I’ve had a text message to say the DWP have responded so I rang the PIP helpline and they wouldn’t discuss it. They told me to ring the court which I did and the court wouldn’t tell me as they said the document is over 600 pages long. Does anyone know why this would be and if I should be worried or not? Thanks in advance

Now they have responded you will receive that as well as the "bundle" which is the document they said is 600 pages. This bundle will include everything you've sent to support your claim, including the PIP2 form, assessment report, any additional evidence and your MR request letter.
When you receive it you will need to take a look through to make sure everything is correct.
Don't be too alarmed when you see that DWP will oppose the appeal, they do that for everyone at Tribunal stage. If they thought you were entitled to PIP or entitled to a higher award then you wouldn't be at this stage.
