Hello 👋 was just wondering what people's experiences have been after receiving the text message " a health professional is looking at your PIP claim" etc, it's for a new recent claim got text 4 weeks after they received the form.

Next step will most likely be an appointment for an assessment, which is mostly by telephone. Some are face to face or video call. If you prefer telephone and you receive either of the others you can change it to telephone.
Paper based assessments are possible if there's enough of information to write the report but they are rare.
Once the assessment report is returned then a decision can take up to 12 weeks.
