Hey there @fehmida and welcome to the community.
Congratulations on your LCWRA award, that must be a huge relief?
I'm afraid I'm still learning the ins and outs of how UC works, but I believe you will receive your 1st payment on the 4th payment cycle. Were there any gaps in your fit notes at all?0 -
hi my sick note was for 6 months which ends in October I was told I don’t need to send anymore.. I received my statement for uc today that does not include any lcwra in there

Ok thank you, which date do you usually receive your UC?

I receive it on the 10th of each month

Ok, so I believe you'll receive your first LCWRA payment on October 10th?
So June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept, that'll be the three months wait. I'm sure one of our super smart regulars will correct me if I've gotten that wrong. 😅

fantastic advice and absolutely spot on! 😁
No LCWRA element is owed due to it not being paid during that waiting period.2 -
so I should receive my payment in October is that correct? Any ideas on how much the payment is? Thank you

Yes that’s correct. LCWRA will increase your maximum UC entitlement by £416.19/month.

I'm so glad to hear we could help @fehmida and please feel free to look around and join in any of the conversations, or even start your own. I always recommend the coffee lounge for some lighthearted chats. 😊
