hello I filled out pip review recently within a 2 month it’s gone to Assasemnt


disability Assasor calls me on her mobile number


asking u can come in for face to face consultation I said I would prefer phone call due to health reasons


why would they do this call of a mobile number

They disability assessor why would they refer me for an assessment


has this happened to anyone quite worried


triggered my anxiety

    Heya @bi786 that sounds most odd, usually they will phone from a private number. But you're within your rights to ask for a phone based assessment. It's quite normal to have to have an assessment with your PIP review, so please try not to worry too much.

    Sometimes the assessor will ring from a mobile number.

    But she said she is a disability assessor

    But asked if I can come in for face 2 face assessment an said I would prefer a phone appointments


    said I will send it to your local assessment centre


    I’ve had few reviews in the past this has never happened , disability assessor called to say she sending for Assasemnt face to face an come in

    When your file is sent across to the assessors someone looks at it to see if they can write the report without the need for an assessment. Sometimes this person may ring you if they have any questions to ask. If after that they decide an assessment is needed you will be sent an appointment. Sounds normal to me.

    If you prefer a telephone assessment you can request that instead of face to face.
