Hi, my name is alix2024! LCWRA, will get a payment this month ?
I have been awarded LCWRA today (just seen the message in my journal) my first fit note was sent in back in April, my next UC payment is in two weeks, could anyone tell me if I get any back pay ? Or if I will get a payment this month ? Many thanks

Hey there @alix2024 andwelcome to the community!
Firstly, big congratulations on the LCWRA award, that must be a huge releif?
As far as payments go, there's a 3 month period before any money is paid. Can I just ask, were there any breaks in your fit notes at all?I'm no expert with LCWRA, but I'll try my best to help. If not, the community is full of people who know the benefits system like the back of their hand. 😊

thank you so much ! It really is a relief as you know the process is so stressful ! No there weren’t any breaks in my fit notes at all. Oh so does that mean that payments won’t be until end of December time ? Thank you 😄

What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?
What date do you usually receive your money each month?

hi , so my first fit note was dated 23rd of April, my next statement is generated on sept 15th and my payments on the 19ty of sept x

It's not the date on the fit note I need, it's the exact date you reported it that fit note that counts. You can look back on your statement to see what date that was.

so looking back in my journal I reported the change on the day I got the note and the change was accepted on the 30th of April by the looks of it x

@poppy123456 do you think it’s too late for a payment this month ? And will go onto next ? Thank you x

Sorry poppy's just gone on holiday, so I'm jumping in.
The 3 full months waiting period when the LCWRA element isn't paid is dated from when you reported your first fit note, so May -Jun, Jun - Jul, Jul - Aug, so then as this LCWRA element is paid in arrears, it's due from your assessment period 13 Aug - 12 Sept, with the first payment due 19 Sept. (so long as you don't live with a partner that already receives this LCWRA element).
Check your statement on the 15th to see if the LCWRA element has been added. There may not have been enough time to calculate the extra you should be paid this month.
