"Allowance needs reinstating" after PIP tribunal

Hiya, I'm just wondering if anyone could help me please? I have been receiving standard mobility from pip, but on 14th August this year I had a tribunal which awarded me enhanced on both. I applied for a motability car knowing that I would have to wait until everything was processed. This week I received my back pay and yesterday recieved my award letter. I've rang motability this mornin and they say that their computer says my "allowance needs reinstating " before I can do anything more. Can anyone help me as I don't understand what it means. My pip has never stopped, just got higher. Any information would be really helpful 🙂

Good afternoon @leesa44. Congratulations on your successful PIP appeal.

I can only guess, but sounds as though they've issued your back pay but their system hasn't yet finalised and updated over to Motability for them to see you are now receiving enhanced mobility. It may take a little while for the systems to all update and pass the information over. I'd give it a few days and try again around Wednesday next week. Have you shared your award letter with Motability?

Thankyou for your reply 😊 I rang motorbility and said I'd got my letter and they said to ring pip and then ring back when I have and they will sort it for me. Just hoping it's a simple call 🙃
