Independent panel
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but have been refused PIP twice. I am now appealing to the Independent panel. Has anyone got decent leads, names, links etc.
Thanks

Hi - if you're appealing to a tribunal, you can look at the following link to see if there might be a Welfare Rights Office near you who may be able to help with your appeal:

That's great, thank you.

Hi @Letthereberock, I have a close friend who has fibromyalgia and it is quite difficult for people to take it seriously. Especially with the way it flares up and down. Chiarieds is right that an advocate would be very beneficial to making your case. You can also check out this Citizen's Advice page about preparing for it.
As you say, the tribunal is independent from the DWP. So it's finally a chance for you to actually be listened to.
Do let us know if you've anymore questions about it!
