What issue are you having with your carers?

hi thanks. My wife is my carer. She herself has been given lcwra but as I get it she recieves no money. Can she still be my carer or does that payment get replaced with an uplift in u/c. Also her pip request is being reviewed. Should be done by8th dec.

She can still claim carers element of UC for looking after you providing you claim a quality disability benefit.

If she claims carers allowance this is just deducted in full from UC so no financial gain.
