PiP review
hi, I sent off my first review form last year and dwp received it 1st November 2023. I received texts every 3 months or so and I have received a text this morning to say my review is complete..but I’ve not had any assessment call or any attempt to contact me? I did send off a a lot of consultant letters and assessment letters etc but I’m still worried that they haven’t called me at all. On my first assessment I had a call that lasted about 10/15 minutes so was expecting at least that. Can they reduce your award or take it away without giving you the chance to talk about it? Thanks

Hi,
Yes, that's normal if it's a paper based assessment. That means they had enough information to make the decision without calling you to ask any more questions.
It is possible for them to reduce the award, though generally paper based reviews seem to be positive from my own experience and others I've read on here. You'll receive a decision letter soon to confirm.
