Travelling abroad

Hi everyone,
I am currently receiving UC and lwrca payment due to mental health, I need to go abroad to visit my dieing grandma, but I need to stay for over a month, If I leave the country, is there anyway UC will know,

I'm sorry to hear this. The maximum time you can travel abroad when claiming UC is 1 month. The day you leave and the day you come home are not counted.
If you go then you must report the changes if you're still out of the country at the end of that 1 month and your UC will end. If you don't then yes they could find out. All changes must be reported, that is part of your claimant commitments.
