Cancelled mobility car order, when can I order a new car?

Hi

Do I have to let mobility know that I have cancelled my mobility car order?

Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel my mobility car order, because of my circumstances at present I can’t meet the advance payment, I have let the dealership know, they are totally fine with the cancellation.

Also when can I order a new car? Obviously one with a less or no advance payment.

Thank you in advance

I would expect the dealership to tell Motability you've cancelled. Does your order still show as open on the Motability website?

I don't think there's any specific length of time you'd have to wait to order a new car. But obviously the cancellation for this one needs to be fully completed first.

    Hi

    Thank you.

I’ve just checked and they haven’t cancelled it yet on my account.

    Hi

Just an update, my mobility account is still showing the order is active and not as cancelled, they acknowledge my confirming the cancellation, but now they are not replying to my emails asking them to cancel my order with mobility and not returning my phone calls. To be honest I find this totally unprofessional.

    Do I call mobility?

Thank you in advance for advice.

thank you poppy123456, I have had no correspondence again today, so I will ring the dealership a final time in the morning and if I have no luck, I will then call mobility.

I’m really disappointed with the actions of the dealership, I explained in my email that this is causing my anxiety to go through the roof, which then has an affect on my other health conditions and yet they still haven’t replied.

I wouldn't bother with the dealership, I would contact Motability.

I’m not sure if this is actually relevant now, but you can get £750 between October until 31st December towards a motability vehicle (we used this for our advanced payment) did the dealership mention this??
