Budgeting loan query

hi all

I’ve seen you can apply for a budgeting loan if on UC but you have to have been getting it for 6 months. How does it work if you’ve had a managed migration over to UC? Would you have to wait 6 months, or would the fact you was getting ESA before be counted?

When claiming UC it's known as a Budgeting Advance. Yes, you need to have been claiming a qualifying benefit for at least 6 months but this includes the time you were claiming Income Related ESA.

Thanks ever so much poppy, I rang and spoke to a lovely lady who’s helped me massively and processed it to receive my payment today too.
