LCWRA and SSP

Hi
Today I received a note from UC to say that my assessment has been accepted and I have been awarded LCWRA. I am currently employed and recieving SSP, also claim UC with children, partner and housing element on the claim.
My question is how does this affect my UC please, can I receive SSP and LCWRA ect

As you have children on your claim then you will already be entitled to the work allowance.
For the LCWRA element you'll be entitled to extra money from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note.
When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date exactly you provided your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.

Hi thank you for such a quick reply. Will I stop recieving SSP from my employer, or do I need to tell my employer as I will no longer be sending them sick notes.

SSP continues for 28 weeks because you are entitled to it and you need to continue to send fit notes to your employer. The LCWRA award has no relevance to your employer. You do not need to continue to send fit notes for UC.
