Hi everyone, thanks in advance for any help. I have recently been awarded pip, standard mobility. Does this mean my housing benefit will increase. I'm getting legacy esa , wrag group and I'm currently affected by the benefits cap, which means i get about £300 a month less than the LHA rate. Will this change with my pip award.

Hi,
This is an interesting question. At first I was going to say that under 35 LHA doesn't increase from shared to one-bed with Mobility only. However, if the benefit cap is the reason for the reduction in your case, then that should be lifted by receiving either part of PIP.
