I first put in my fit note April , I got a letter on my journal that I’m in receipt of LWCA, I’ve handed in 7 for note still not receive any extra money yet?

first fitnote was 29/4/24

If that was the same date you reported your health condition then your waiting period will be as follows.

May/June, June/July, July/August.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 23rd August to 22nd Sept and first payment will be 29th September. I would have expected you to have received your first payment by now.

Please note this is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes up until the decision was made and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.

You don't need to provide any further fit notes. The decision letter tells you this.

Are you 100% sure that the decision was Limited Capability For Work Related Activity? (LCWRA) and it wasn't just Limited Capability For work? (LCW)

If it definitely was, please also have a look back through your journal to check exactly what date you provided your first fit note. It's the date you provided it that counts, not the date on that fit note.

Did you check back through your journal to see if 29th April was the exact date you provided your first fit note?

Many people provide a fit note that's back dated and when asked what date they provided it they tell me the date that was on the fit note and not the date they actually provided it.
