Sicknote not accepted
Hi there I have received my award letter for LCWRA but there seems to some confusing because I have been giving steady sicknotes every month from back in June 2024 and there saying I have to wait the full 3 months they said there's a gap between 15/09/2024 till the assessment day which was the 01/10/2024 but I sent my sicknotes as I have always done from the start and it shows up on my journal 16/09/2024 to 13/10/2024 which does infact cover me so then I got my confirmation letter saying I no longer need to provide sicknotes so I took a closer look and my fitenote and it wasn't accepted this happened just before my medical assessment so I don't what's happening her but I have all my medical notes that back this up it's just kinda funny all my other sicknotes were excepted but the last one leading upto my assessment isn't being accepted and there's no explanation why ? this has left whoever is working on my case confused I think. can u please advise me or give me an idea of what u think might of happend here i hope to hear back from you soon

Can you see that you've provided details of that fit note on your journal? If you provided in on there than you will see it, it will not be removed. Please check through your journal.
What date exactly did you provide your first fit note? what date do you usually receive your money each month?

Yes its on my journal it says fitnote Completed but also says not excepted at the same time and there's nothing wrong with the information on the sicknote it is as the same as always so tha note covers me till the 13/10/24 andcovers me pass what I have been asked to provide for as I was told no need for anymore sicknotes because the discussion was made to award me LCWRA iv been back and forth with JC and they keep telling me I have to wait the full 3 months I asked for an appointment so I can provide all my sicknotes documents face to face but I only get replies on my journal and it takes them 2 to 4 days at time to give me the same replies it's very stressful to me am glad I have this kind of chat room to ask questions also researched the hell out of it lol and I know am in right here but it's been like talking to a brick wall sometimes lol sorry about the rant
looking forward to hearing back from you soon

Yes the waiting period is 3 full assessment periods starting from when you provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month.
The LCWRA element should automatically be added from that 4th month.
You didn't answer any of the questions I asked and I can't advise you without that information.
1/ What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?
2/ what date do you usually receive your money each month?
Without knowing that information your first payment would be either Oct or November.

First fitnote started 11/06/24
and I get paid the 18th of each month

Thanks. That means your waiting period is June/July, July/Aug, Aug/sept.. LCWRA starts from 12th Sept to 11th Oct and first payment will be 18th October. They owe you 1 months LCWRA element.
If the decision was made very close to the end date of your assessment period, or even after the end date then this would be why you didn't receive the extra money in this months statement. That statement will be recalculated and you'll be paid the money that's owed as a separate payment.
You will need to check your next statement to make sure the element is included. Please also note that work coaches and service centre staff often get the waiting period incorrect so I wouldn't rely on their advice.
