I'm considered self employed on the MIF of £1550. When I report my income and expenses, is the figure UC use the final figure after expenses or before? I'm very confused.

Your earnings are after expenses. However, if your earnings are less than your MIF amount then it will be the MIF figure they use. If your earnings are more than that amount it will be your earnings figure they use.
