One of the rules is if I'm going out the house for more than 2-3 hours I have to let her know when and why and it's realy triggering something in me and I can't keep doing it

what can I do???

I had agoraphobia really bad from ages 12-27 I didn't leave house at all. I'm now 38 and have opposite problem, I hate being at home and feel very stressed and confined if I'm there for more than a couple of hours.

I've been submitting fit notes to UC for nearly 20 months waiting for a assessment and have been having to work search all this time even though I know I'm not able to do the jobs. I got a new work coach a month ago and she won't leave me alone and it's making my life hell but the leaving the house bit is the worst I feel like I am on a police monitor tag or something can they really do this?????

That is a very strange commitment. I've never heard of anyone else having that one. Is that the exact wording of it?

If you have been from home 2-3 I will need to know where you have been

That is completely outrageous and well beyond the scope of what a Work Coach should be asking...

I would lodge a formal complaint against her

I'm also concerned about such a long wait for a medical assessment- what date did you return the UC50?

What do I say why I am complaining? Because she is being unfair and keeps giving me sanctions?

    What is a UC50?

    see number 5

and she keeps doing phone appointments but I can't use phone calls because my hearing bad so then I get sanction and then they do again, it isn't fair

That doesn't even make sense. I can allow them the odd spelling or grammar error but that's so poorly written it's not even understandable.

As Kimmy says, I think you should complain about this work coach and even try to get a different one.

I would complain on the grounds of the work coaches demands being unreasonable.

You mentioned you had been waiting 20 months for an assessment, and had been submitting fit notes for that time.

A UC50 is a form you should have been sent, and returned to the medical assessment provider.

20 months is well in excess that a new claim should take, hence my concern.

I'm also going to link how to find local advice and support with your UC situation.

That’s potentially harassment! You really need to put in a complaint! They should not be asking you to tell them what you’re doing in your time or where you’re going and even how long you’re out for.

When you put in the complaint please tell them exactly what this person is telling what you should do and make sure you tell them what they said at number 5 above.

The UC50 form is the work capability assessment form. You said you’ve been providing fit notes for 20 months. Have you been referred for a work capability assessment yet?

I'm very concerned about the details here. You've been waiting nearly 2 years for an assessment and you need to tell your work coach about anytime you leave the house for more than 2 hours?

I would, as others have said, put in a complaint. I would also contact your local MP about this, at least to let them know of the situation if the DWP drags their feet on a resolution.

What did they tell you was the process for the assessment when you first handed in your sick notes, and how often have you been sanctioned?

These are a lot of questions, so please just answer what you can in your own time. But something is very wrong here and I hope this can be resolved soon.

You should write to your local MP as well Hermit22.

That's an ivasion of privacy... surely? I am amazed they can make such demands

    Make

Make sure you include in your complaint that you've waited nearly 2 years for a WCA assessment after you returned your UC50 form. But don't say you completed a UC50 form so if not, 20 months is a long time for DWP not to send you one so that's also a complaint point.

The delay is having an assessment and thus LCW/LCWRA is causing you undue issues.
