Im looking for a PA for my 10 year son just a few hours a week. He has ADHD and ASD and suffers with extreme anxiety. Im looking for a young adult with a caring nature and good sense of humour to support him to attend group activities. Where could I look for/find such a person? We're in st Helens, thank you :)

Hi @GenieBridge, welcome to the community 😊 I hope you're doing well today! We aren't really a community for finding and connecting with people for such things like jobs or roles, but I'm sure we can help try to point in the right direction. I imagine you will want someone local and nearby, does your local library have a board for small jobs or another local institution?

Given this is a PA, is his school able to help along the lines of SEND? I'm of course not sure what support, if any, the school already has in place but thought I'd ask to see if that was something already covered.

I'll just move this over to our Families and carers category as well 🙂

Thank you...this is another of my worries that they might develop a good relationship then they leave..and that would just be too much for him....

Ah sorry about that...scope popped up when I was googling whats out there and thought I'd chance my arm…he goes an out of borough school so they're only aware of local services and the services available in my area aren't right for him. Thank you
