Hi 👋
I am carer of 2 disabled children, I save dla in their bank account.
I am being migrated to Universal credit. Will the savings in the children's name ( Their Dla) be counted as savings 🤔

Heya @poppy04 and welcome to the community. 😊
Benefits will count as savings a month after they're put in your bank account. So if the savings go over £6k, then your UC will be adjusted by a small amount. If savings are over £16k then UC will be stopped.

Thank you Albus cope. What about savings in my children's account. I am setting up a trust for them.
Many thanks 😊

If the money is in a trust then it wont be seen as your personal savings, no. 😊
