Sadly Calcotti is no longer active on here. Are you sure it's a non dependant deduction and it's not for something else? Are you living in privately rented or social/council housing?
Do you live alone?

If you have non dependants living with you then they are disregarded if your PIP includes the daily living part.
If you live alone and have a spare bedroom then the bedroom tax will apply unless you need regular overnight care and your PIP includes daily living part and then you maybe able to claim for an extra bedroom.
Put a message on your journal and tell them that this is being deducted and it shouldn’t be. You will be paid what is owed to you.

When your son moved out, did you report this change to Universal Credit @lucyloo2? And when you were awarded PIP do you let UC know about this change?

Then that’s why the deductions have continued. Although if you now have 1 spare bedroom then there’s a 14% deduction in your housing element so they may not owe you as much as you think. You need to tell them he’s no longer living with you and about your PIP.
If regular overnight care is needed then you can apply for an extra bedroom.
