I am on ESA and pip atm.Would I be better off on universal credit and can I claim careers allowance for my disabled daughter?

Does your ESA include the Severe disability Premium? If it does then I'd advise you not to claim UC until you receive the migration letter. If you do then you'll be worse off.
You can claim carers allowance for looking after your daughter if she claims a qualifying disability benefit herself, such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care.
