So after a year + of waiting for my pip review I finally received this text
I assume this means I'll have an assement? I haven't seen this one before on here, I'm on enhanced for both and glad to finally see some progress anyways.. anyone had this one and had paper based or dealt with maximus?

Paper based assessment is still possible even after this text. This is a standard text and just means that a decision maker decided they couldn't make a decision without sending your file across to the assessors.
If an assessment is needed you will be contacted.

Hi @maylemon, I can see that poppy's already given some advice but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the community.
Hopefully you'll find out soon whether you need to do an assessment or whether they've gone paper-based. Whatever happens, fingers crossed the process is nice and smooth for you 😊

Have you heard back from? I received same message on 17th of December and haven't heard anything since.

Hi, yes I had a phone assessment just before Christmas and kept enhanced on both. January 15th the review completed

Welcome to the community 😊 PIP assessments are dealt with by different assessors in different regions of the UK. So waiting times for an assessment can have some variation!
